SSGs are vital to good governance, Amosun

Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, has highlighted the importantance of Secretaries to the State Governments (SSGs), to good governance in the country.
He said this at the opening of the 7th quarterly meeting of Secretaries to Government of All Progressives Congress (APC) controlled states, at the MITROS Rsideneces, Ibara, Abeokuta.
The governor, who described the SSGs as the engine room of their states, noted that the meeting will provide opportunity for them to engender synergy, towards creating workable policies and programmes.
Amosun harped on the essence of security to national developemnt, and said the there is the need to put in place apparatus that will ensure safety of lives and property.
He stated that his government, has through its Mission to Rebuild the state, taken steps to ensure the safety of residents.
In his welcome address, Secretary to the Ogun State Government, Barr. Taiwo Adeoluwa, said the two-day meeting will delebrate on the UNECA recommendations, Primary Health Care and institutionalization of common policy and legislative frameworks.
