‘It’s nobody’s business’
Top Yoruba actress and proprietress, PayDab Creche, Surulere, Lagos, Dayo Amusa, fondly addressed as Dewumi Iberu has reacted to the tale that she has bleached and also lost some weight with a view of suiting her male admirers, adding that it’s just a frivolous issue.
Speaking with ENCOMIUM Weekly on Monday, May 26, 2014, the versatile interpreter expressed discomfort about the tale, warning those sponsoring it to mind their business. She further labelled them as lazy hands.
“To start with, whose business is it whether I have lost or added weight? What’s anybody’s concern about whether someone is bleaching or not? For what purpose? I don’t know why some people don’t just mind their business? They are just being lazy and useless. That’s why they are busy peddling unnecessary rumours. I don’t even expect you to be calling these types of questions at all.
Please, I don’t want to listen to such things anymore. Thank you, sir.”
Efforts to make her divulge on the tale proved out rightly abortive as all the calls put through her mobile line were ignored. We also sent her a text message, but was equally not replied till we went to press.
