Encomium
The sprawling mansion of the Oduoyes in GRA, Ikeja, Lagos, was the destination for friends and well-wishers as they stormed the venue of the birthday ceremony of Sinaayomi Simeon Oduoye on Saturday, May 30, 2015.
Simeon is the son of star actress Mosunmola Filani-Oduoye and it was a joyful moment for the screen diva. In a few minutes chat with ENCOMIUM Weekly’s Tade Asifat, Mosunmola spoke on how she felt about her son’s birthday, how loving her husband, Barrister Kayode Oduoye is and sundry issues.
How do you feel on your son’s birthday?
I feel good of course, I’m happy and elated that my son, Sinaayomi Simeon Oduoye turned a year. Sure it is natural for one to feel happy and thank God for His mercies. He has indeed been quite good. I also thank friends and well-wishers that honoured us with their presence.
And your husband?
My husband, Barrister Kayode Emmanuel Oduoye is also in same mood, and like I mentioned, we have very good reasons to be thankful and appreciative of the divine support, blessings and mercies that we have enjoyed. My son bears same name with my late father in – law, Senator Simeon Oduoye.
How would you describe him?
He is a perfect gentleman, loving and caring and above all he has the fear of God and he is a good Christian.
