TOP Nigerian model and former beauty queen, Bisi Rahaman is officially engaged. The process that will allow the former Miss Malaika add the prefix, Mrs., before her name has kicked off in earnest. Bisi Rahaman and the man who means the world to her, Bonny James Olong, on Saturday, February 4, 2012, performed a moderate introduction ceremony at her dad’s house in Egbeda, Lagos. This was the first phase of the marital proceedings.
The wedding proper, according to the tall and leggy model comes up on Friday, March 30, 2012, in Lagos. Preparation for the grand affair has commenced already.
Still basking in the euphoria of her new status, Bisi admitted being on top of the world as she actually got engaged to the man of her dream. “I didn’t invite many people because this is just the introduction. The wedding which comes up in March will attract many people. It is a dream come true, I am happy. We just met about a year ago and it’s reasonable we seal the relationship now,” she volunteered.
ENCOMIUM Weekly source divulged the two have been an item for sometime now albeit secretly. The lucky dude, Bonny James Olong is dark in complexion, he is popularly known as 007 among his circle of friends. He is from Idoma, Benue State, 34 years old, he is said to be working with an oil company based in Nigeria.
Bisi Rahaman shot into limelight after winning the Miss Malaika crown years back, since then she has done other plum jobs in Lagos and South Africa. She is a very close friend of Warebi Martha, also a super model based in South Africa. Aside being a model, Bisi is also a fashion entrepreneur. The model trades with the brand name, Iwa, her merchandise is customized T-shirts, shirts, fez caps and other fashion accessories.
