Suspected iPhone thief, Seun Egbeegbe attends first social event

– Graces Olofa’s victory party in Ikeja

Alhaji Kazeem Oluwaseun, popularly addressed as Egbeegbe, CEO of Ebony Productions, has thrown behind all the controversies that trailed the alleged iPhone theft and stepped out for the first time after the ugly and shocking incident.

The famous showbiz promoter, in company of his ‘boys’, attended the victory party of Olofa of Ofa, Kwara state, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi (Esuwoye 2, Ilufemiloye 1) which held at Combo Hall, LTV 8, Lateef Jakande Road, Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos on Sunday, January 8, 2017, and was hailed to high heavens by his numerous fans at the venue.

The Abeokuta, Ogun born entertainment financier, clad in the green ankara ‘aso ebi’ for the event, was happy and full of joy as he enjoyed praises by all the artistes, including famous Islamic gospel singer, Alhaja Aminat Omotayebi, Fuji star, Alhaji Wasiu Alabi (Pasuma) and others who thrilled at the event.

Egbeegbe’s sudden appearance at the party laid to rest the speculation that he has travelled out of the country to save face pending the hearing of his case at the Magistrate Court, Ikeja, Lagos on February 18, 2017.

However, ENCOMIUM Weekly’s efforts to have a full interview with Egbeegbe was rebuffed, insisting he can’t grant us any interview on the issue and every other thing now until the court decides on the case. He, however, denied travelling out since he was granted bail on Thursday, November 24, 2016.

‘I can’t talk on anything now because the case is still in court. So, wait until court decides on the matter. But on whether I travelled to Malaysia or I was extradited by Malaysian government, it’s all rumour. I didn’t go anywhere. I have been in my house in Ikeja, Lagos.”
