The rift between Popular fuji musician, Saidi Akorede (Osupa) and his backup singer, Taofeek Kokoro, better known as Olohun lugo, is yet to be a thing of the past, encomium.ng can reveal authoritatively.
Kokoro, whose first album, Fuji Modernizer, since he left Osupa’s band alongside other 25 members months back, will be launched on Sunday, March 27,2016, told us on Thursday, March 24,2016, that his former boss, Osupa is not on his guests list, let alone expecting him at the event. However, he said the Ibadan ,Oyo born fuji lyricist will be welcome if he decides to come on his own.
“Saidi Osupa is not invited to my album launch. The reason for that is best known to the management. But if he shows up, he’s welcome.”
The event is billed to hold at New Look Hotel, Abule Egba, Lagos, and is expected to attract prominent people from different sections of the society.
Among the entertainers coming to identify with the talented singer are Remi Aluko, Murhi Thunder, Shako Rasheed, Tope Nautical, Small Doctor, Kamoru Seriki Omo Owo,S kally Mental, Big Prince and others. The show is going to be anchored by MC Infinity and African Pencil Gee.
