Teen knocked down to death in petrol station accident

A teenage girl was killed yesterday (September 10) as she was hit by a car while filling up at a petrol station in Renfrewshire, Scotland.

Police Scotland said 17-year-old Eilish Herron was struck by a Ford Focus that collided with her Renault Clio while she refilled on the forecourt of the Asda garage.

Ms Herron, of Paisley, died of her injuries at the scene. The male driver of the Ford Focus was, however, uninjured.
