Teenager dies attempting ice bucket challenge

A British teenager fell to his death after drowning at a disused
quarry in an apparent ice bucket challenge gone wrong.

18-year-old Cameron Lancaster, according to reports, took part in the
charity craze before jumping into Fife’s Preston Hill Quarry where
cliffs reach 80ft around the edges.

Police were called to the quarry in Inverkeithing, Fife, shortly
before 5pm yesterday (August 24) after receiving a report that a male
had disappeared under the water.
