Microsoft founder, Bill Gates is, once again, the wealthiest person in America as Forbes magazine releases its annual Forbes 400 list.
The philantropist’s net worth is a jaw-dropping $81 billion (N12.96 tr), making him the wealthiest American for the 21st year in a row. In second place is his friend and savvy investor, Warren Buffet, who has a net worth of $67 billion (N10.72 tr).
Others in the top ten include: Larry Ellison – $50 B (3rd), Charles Koch – $42 B (joint 4th), David Koch – $42 B (joint 4th), Christy Walton & family – $38 B (6th), Jim Walton – $36 B (7th), Michael Bloomberg – $35 B (8th), Alice Walton – $34.9 B (9th) and S. Robson Walton – $34.8 B (10th).
