Intercontinental Distillers Limited –makers of world class drinks, from Veleta Sparkling Fruit Drink to Finlays Tonic Wine, Squadron Blended Dark Rum and Chelsea London Dry Gin –changed the scale of the ball with their involvement in 2013. Their exploits as we rocked and rollicked on April 14, 2013, at Ruby Gardens left us with sweet and fond memories. This year, they are back. And with more products, especially Chapeau red wine, for the enjoyment of our stars and star makers, dreamers and dream makers.
Ruby Gardens, the Gem of New Lagos, is an events centre that parades uncommon facilities. And in our years in events planning, we can proudly say that they are at home with high class shindigs.

Elizabeth R –Ibidun Ituah-Ighodalo is a sister we love to bits. Ever since she emerged as the Face of Lux almost two decades ago, we knew she would be around on top of her game whichever endeavour she chose to pursue. And we are proud of the shockingly simple stunner who interprets magical dreams.
With her events planning company, we have found a home and a family.
From ushers to painstaking attention to details, we are in good company.
DJ Jimmy Jatt –There are good people, kind, warm and charitable. But DJ Jimmy Jatt, Africa’s numero uno and the undisputed king leads them all. Everyone who knows the disc-jockey, a father and shrewd businessman, puts in a good word. Quiet but serious and determined, we are always happy that we have been fortunate to cross his path. For all our events, DJ Jimmy Jatt supports and teaches us all the time that kindness can be limitless.
Z-mirage –Alhaji Teju Kareem is a rare breed, a scholar and thinker without airs. Respectful and considerate, he brings everything he has on the table without monetary consideration.
The pillar behind many events, from stage, sound, screens and more, has been around longer than we can remember.
And this year, the ball will wear a beautiful look many won’t stop talking about.
K-Square Security –if you have been in this town for any length of time, you must know Kunle Komolafe’s bulky, well-mannered and no-nonsense men. They are behind the security of most celebrity events. And at our ceremonies, we always have K-Square.
Unobtrusive but ubiquitous, the well-trained men will man our gates and secure our venue, like they have done since 2009.
Police and LASTMA –they never leave us alone. The men of the Nigeria Police and Lagos State Traffic Management Authority go the extra mile for our events. Around the vicinity of our ball, groove or gig, they are ever present, easing movement and planting confidence and courage in the bosoms of our guests.
We know that “police is truly our friend.”
With LASTMA, bottlenecks and gridlocks and irresponsible behavior from motorists are not permitted.
There are a handful of service providers who amplify the pleasure of our guests.
12 Baskets’ small chops and canapés transform palates and gratifies stomachs. The finger foods which are lip smackers will be presented in a surprising mode at this ball.
Labash‘s colourful drinks in tall and large, small and big glasses are sweet thirst quenchers. The cocktails made with fresh fruits and unsweetened by sugar tell a beautiful tale.
Bonix is a class act when it comes to beverages, beer, wine, spirits and champagne. With their classy bar and knowledge of the business, the husband and wife duo have been around long enough to be crowned King and Queen.
Our caterers –Osho’s Celebrations, Mark’z Catering Services, Bissy Cat, Hot Pots –are darlings. Never complaining, their understanding of menu never fails to amaze us. Their success at the 7-course meal at last year’s ball is still being applauded.
