With fame and fortune comes the searchlight into ones private life. As the popularity of the Agege bread hawker began to soar, all sorts of tales started flying around…
* The first was that she was being taken advantage of by those promoting her. That they were after the money she would rake in.
But that rumour quickly died as more details emerged that TY Bello never planned to make a dime from her. Apart from Olajumoke Orisaguna’s free photo sessions, she even paid for her hotel accommodation in Oyediran Estate, Yaba. Until she moved to the Surulere apartment courtesy of Sujimoto Construction.
* Stories that she would soon dump her husband were also doused as Sunday Orisaguna surfaced in Lagos, and both reaffirmed their love in interviews with Encomium Weekly.
They are still together in their Surulere apartment with their daughters, Grace (6) and Precious (two and half years old).
* The change of modelling agency, from Bolaji Fawehinmi’s FEW to Elohor Aisien’s Beth Models generated some noise. But it was calmed by the maturity of Fawehinmi who refused to make a hue and cry over the switch.
* For months, nothing was heard about the bread hawker turned model – and concerned Nigerians began to ask questions. The noise died down when she appeared at Elite Model Look on Saturday, October 1, 2016, at Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island.
