The intimate secrets of GUS 12 contestants

1-5-1Usaka Forest, Obut Akara local government area of Akwa Ibom State is set for this year’s Gulder Ultimate Search as 12 contestants began the search for the 10th symbol.

Before their entry into the rugged and swampy terrain of the forest, they paid a courtesy visit to the newly constructed Akwa Ibom State government house.

The contestants were received by the State Executive Governor, Barr. Godswill Akpabio. Also on hand to received the contestants were the Deputy Governor, Barr. Valerie Ebe, the State Head of Service, Commissioners, Special Advisers, among others.

Onike Ifunanya lives in Kaduna State, Nigeria. She is 2, from Anambra State and a graduate of Economics from the University of Nigerian, Nsukka. Onike says her personality can be likened to that of an eagle. She has a dream of becoming a big business mogul, owning the biggest fast food chain in the world which will start from Nigeria. Her mother is from Akwa Ibom and she is so proud of the Akwa Ibom blood running in her veins.



Peter is 27 and a graduate of Microbiology from Igbenedion University, Okada, Benin, Edo State.  Peter is from Delta State and his goal is to become African’s biggest movie director, creating beautiful stories about Africa through movies.



Bobby is 23, from Anambra State and a Law graduate of the University of Abuja. His ambition is to become a Senator of this great nation.  Bobby believes in Nigeria and where he would have the opportunity of contributing beautiful ideas that will enhance nation building.



Salako is from Ogbomosho, Oyo State, Nigeria. He is 24 and a graduate of Geography with Meteorology, Federal University of Technology, Minna. Salako is bothered about environmental degradation in Nigeria, especially in the oil producing areas and wants to come up with effective solutions that will arrest this situation.



Edmond is 27, he is from Enugu State and a medical doctor. He graduated from Igbenedion University, Okada, Edo State. Dr. Edmond’s dream is to become the first Nigerian director general of the World Health Organisation (WHO).   He is currently, Mr. Tourism, Edo State.



Anthony is 29, from Delta State and a graduate of Animal Production Technology from the Federal University of Technology, Niger State, Nigeria. Anthony calls himself a farmer and dreams of establishing a farm big enough to feed the whole of Nigeria and beyond and the same time generate employment opportunities for Nigerians.



Mary is 21, a twin and a graduate of Public Administration, University of Abuja. She is currently awaiting NYSC call –up. Mary is a firm believer in the Nigerian dream and wants to make Nigeria a better place for all Nigerians, a Nigeria that will be the envy of the world. Mary is from Edo State.



Martha is 21, and a 300 level student of Theatre Arts, University of Abuja. She loves children and wants to establish an NGO, big enough to cater for abandoned children.  She is from Edo State.



Dennis is 29 years old, from Abia State and a graduate of Electronics Engineering, University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Dennis loves car with a passion and plans to establish a successful international import and export business in Nigeria.



Ema is 21 years old, from Ikot Ekpene Local government area of Akwa Ibom State and a 300 level student of History and International Studies, University of Uyo. Ema loves God with a passion and her biggest fear in life is letting her parent and her God down. Ema love children and plans to create a platform that will help children actualise their dreams.
