‘The money I flaunted on Instagram is mine’- Harrysong

harrysongPopular dancehall musician, Harrysong has denied the tale that he borrowed money he flaunted on Instagram to boost his image.

Speaking with ENCOMIUM Weekly on Thursday, October 23, 2014, in a phone chat, the handsome dude rubbished the rumour.

“How can I borrow money and flaunt it on social media? It will be so stupid of me to do that.”

We also asked him where he got the money he flaunted. “It’s my money. I went for a show in Uyo, Akwa Ibom state. The organizers were to pay into my account but they didn’t. Instead, I was given cash. It was a concert organized by students of tertiary institutions in Uyo. It is money from my hard work.”

The social media was agog a couple of days back about the talented artiste. Rumour had it that Mr. Songz, as he’s also known, had joined the bandwagon of flaunting huge cash on Instagram. It was alleged that the money he was throwing into the air was borrowed. It was also alleged that the money belonged to Emeka Okonkwo, popularly known as E-Money.

After displaying the money, Harrysong posted, “Me and best friend. PH next. God bless all my kolombolicious beta pikins.”

Born Harrison Tare Okiri, he launched into limelight through his song, Beta Pikin. He has some hits to his credit namely, I am in Love and Kolombo. He has been enjoying good followership as a result of this. He is reputed for his distinctive voice. Harrysong was formerly signed to Questionmark before joining KCee’s Five Star Music.
