The Orekoyas open up on their children’s kidnap ordeal (4): PPRO’S reaction on the case

DSP-Kenneth-NwosuWhen ENCOMIUM Weekly probed further on the development concerning the case on Sunday, April 19, 2015, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Lagos State Command, DSP Kenneth Nwosu reacted: “The key suspect is still in our custody. She can’t be released until we finish our investigation and we get other suspects arrested. After apprehending the suspects, we will charge all of them to court. The law must take its course.

“I am assuring the public that the case will not be swept under the carpet. We’re on top of it, and very soon we will get them apprehended. There’s no hiding place for them.

“However, there is no unresolved kidnapping in our record. Even the one in Magodo has been resolved and the children reunited with their family. So, also the Orekoya children. They have been in the custody of their parents since they were discharged from the hospital.

“We want to use this medium to assure Lagosians of safety of their lives and property as the Command is very proactive in the provision of such to the entire residents of Lagos state.”
