The President Nigerians want in 2015 (5)

Sick and tired of mal-administration, Nigerians have been listing the qualities they want in the man to be elected president on Saturday, March 28, 2015.

‘I DON’T WANT A PRESIDENT OF WORDS, BUT OF ACTION’ – Nelson Esseh

We have been on the receiving end of unfulfilled promises over the past decade. This time, I don’t want a president of words, but of action. Not someone who will pay lip service to ridding us of the evil cabal.

‘SOMEBODY WHO WILL LEAD THE FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION BY EXAMPLE’ – Nkechi Ibe

This year, the president I will vote for is somebody who will lead the fight against corruption by example.

‘SOMEONE ONE WHO HAS THE INTEREST OF THE MASSES AT HEART’ – Janet Bidemi

The vision of a president I want is impossible in Nigeria now because we are not yet serious about building a future for our generations. But the president I would admire is one who has the interest of the masses at heart. That way, conscience will not allow him spend millions of naira on frivolity while people suffer.

‘I WANT A PRESIDENT WHO CAN PURGE US FROM CORRUPTION’ – Reginald Anthony

Godfatherism is one ill that has kept us in one spot, we have even retrogressed because of it. I want a president who can purge us from it. That’s all.

‘I WANT A PRESIDENT THAT DOES NOT SEE THE OFFICE AS HIS BIRTHRIGHT’ – Bakare Olayori

Most of our politicians believe in violence. Thankfully, the two presidential aspirants for this year have signed a pact of no violence. Let’s hope they keep their word. For me, I want a president that does not see the office as his birthright and so would not employ violence to achieve his ambition.

‘I WANT PEOPLE OF INTEGRITY’ – Godwin Abraham

Let me not restrict it to just the president I want, but the kind of politicians I want. I want people of integrity. These political office holders are fond of making vain and empty promises. Posterity will judge them.

‘I WANT PRESIDENT OF VISION’ – Olanike Olasupo

I try not to be sentimental when it comes to voting. I am very practical and for me, I look forward to the day we would have a president with vision and the will to move us forward.

‘HE SHOULD BE GOD FEARING’ – Stella Anosike

Like our beloved president said some time ago that his ambition is not worth the life of any Nigerian, that’s the kind of president I want.

‘I WANT GOD’S INTERVENTION’ – Mrs. Ayo

The Lord should speak for our nation, Nigeria, we need God’s intervention. So, I want Jonathan to be our president.

‘I WANT A PRESIDENT THAT WILL LEAD US ARIGHT’- Mr. Samuel Adeoti

I want a president that will lead us aright so I want Buhari and his vice so that the spirit of the physical and the spiritual would be able to communicate well. The voice of man is also the voice of God for us.

‘ALL I WANT IS CHANGE’ – Temitope Adams

God’s own is the best. All I want is change in the country.

‘GOD SHOULD GIVE US RIGHT LEADER’ – Mr. Kunle Adeoye

My God is so great. He promised us the right leader in the country, so God has spoken.

‘I WANT SOMEONE WHO IS CAPABLE OF LEADING’ – Popoola Kehinde

I want someone who is capable of leading this nation to greater heights.

‘I WANT A RELIABLE PRESIDENT’ – Akinsola Olaitan

A reliable president that won’t be influenced by anybody for example, godfathers, etc.

‘NIGERIANS WANT A PRESIDENT THAT WILL BE BOLD ENOUGH TO TAKE STRONG DECISIONS’ – Mary Fatunde

I believe in a firm and focused man to be my president come May 29, 2015. Nigerians want a president that will be bold enough to take strong decisions without any fear of persecution. We need a president that will take education serious and also fix electricity. He should also be God fearing.

‘NIGERIANS NEED THE MAN THAT WILL RESTORE PEACE AND UNITY OF THIS COUNTRY’ – Wole Asifat

The kind of president Nigerians need at the moment is the one that will restore peace and unity of this country first. Then, he should be ready to fix our infrastructure. He should also be ready to look beyond oil as the price falls daily.

We need to revive agriculture across the country. But it doesn’t necessarily have to be Jonathan again. If he couldn’t achieve all these, I think there is need for change and total transformation of our dear fatherland.

‘WE WANT AN ACTION PRESIDENT’ – Emeka Umejie

Nigeria needs an action president. A man who wouldn’t look at faces and personalities to govern the nation. Leadership requires a doze of action and strategic thinking.

‘NIGERIA DESERVES A GOOD LEADER’ – Precious John

Nigeria deserves a good leader. And we demand this in 2015. Anything short of this will not augur well for our nation.

‘A PRESIDENT THAT CAN FIGHT CORRUPTION…’ – Desmond Agboola

All what we need in Nigeria now is transformation. A president that can fight corruption and can bring an end to insecurity in Nigeria. I think corruption is our major problem in Nigeria.

‘A REAL MAN THAT CAN CHANGE NIGERIA…’ – Mariam Salami

A real man that can change Nigeria, not the man that will be controlled by a woman because we really need change in this country.

‘I WANT A PRESIDENT THAT WOULD NOT ONLY FIGHT CORRUPTION…’ – Dorcas Akinsola

I want a president that would not only fight corruption but provide good and efficient healthcare facilities to its people.

‘I WANT A PRESIDENT THAT KNOWS WHAT IT TAKES TO LEAD A COUNTRY’ – Funke Adebisi

I want a president that knows what it takes to lead a country, someone who is bold enough to face corrupt people and eliminate them. Someone who cares about the plight of the masses. Someone who will tackle Nigeria’s problems.

‘I WANT A PRESIDENT WHO WILL PROVIDE BASIC AMENITIES FOR THE COUNTRY’ – TOYE SOLOMON

I want a president who will provide basic amenities for the country. Someone who will lead with the fear of God. Someone who will leave the country in a better state than he met it.
