The President Nigerians want in 2015 (6)

Sick and tired of mal-administration, Nigerians have been listing the qualities they want in the man to be elected president on Saturday, March 28, 2015.

‘A visionary man who would lead us out of this quagmire of poverty’
The president of my dream is a God-fearing and visionary man who would lead us out of this quagmire of poverty and backwardness we find ourselves.
– CECILIA ODION

‘I want a president who has genuine interest the citizens’
I am not particular about religion or tribe, I am particular about a man’s set of beliefs and his value system. I want a president who has genuine interest the citizens.
– RAHEEM BUSARI

‘The president should be truthful’
I want a president who would stand on the principles of truth and fairness in his rule.
– KATHERINE OKEH

‘A president that will bring unity to this country’
Our next president should be somebody who can bring the Igbos, the Yoruba and the Hausa together and create one Nigeria.
– HAPPINESS STEVEN

‘All I want is a change’
We have very greedy and self-centred politicians in Nigeria. From the president to the councilors. I want a change in that regard.
– GIFT IMENWO

‘A man that will bring dividends of democracy to the masses’
The kind of president we want is a man that can help the citizens and make sure the masses enjoy the dividends of democracy. We also want peace to reign.
– PHILIP SAMSON

‘We want a president that will eradicate poverty’
Nigerians are suffering. We want a president that will eradicate poverty. The country needs a person that will meet the needs of the citizens.
– MRS. OJU OKUROLOLA

‘We want someone who will put everything in order’
Nigeria is in disarray. We want someone who will put everything in order. Nigeria needs unity, so the person we want should be like the APC candidate who are always in one accord like we experienced in Lagos State.
– YINKA SAMUEL

‘We want someone who is competent’
The two presidential aspirants are not capable. We want someone who is competent. Nigeria is in need of someone who will make them happy.
– MR. SAMUEL

‘I want a president that will see himself as part of us’
I want a president that will see himself as part of us. A president that will constantly come up with initiatives that will be beneficial to all, rather than to himself and his family. A leader for excellence. A president that will deal with corruption squarely, not the one that will spare some sacred cows and make others scapegoats.
A president that lives by the principles of equity, justice and fair play.
– YINKA QUADRI

‘We need a detribalized president’
I want a God fearing man who will handle the problems of Nigeria with all sense of sincerity. We need a detribalized president. We don’t want a corrupt president again. And I believe Nigerians will also realise this when they go to the polls on Saturday, March 28, 2015.
Nigeria needs a principled man that can handle every issue firmly and seriously.
– MALLAM ISA IBRAHIM

‘We want a cool headed president’
We need a cool-headed president because our problem is not the ‘Head of State’ but the state of the head. So, I expect Nigerians to elect an intelligent leader. That does not imply the present leader is not intelligent.
– MONDAY UBANI

‘Nigeria deserves a forward-thinking president’
We deserve a forward-thinking president. A man who has a vision for the country. It is left to Nigerians to decide who, between Buhari and Jonathan has this forward-thinking mentality.
– BARRISTER IDOWU AJAYI
