THE PRESIDENT NIGERIANS WANT IN 2015 (7)

Sick and tired of mal-administration, Nigerians have been listing the qualities they want in the man to be elected president on Saturday, March 28, 2015.

‘WE WANT RIGHTEOUS MAN AS PRESIDENT’ – Paul Agudozie

The Holy Book says when the righteous is in power, the people rejoice. This is what I believe we need in Nigeria. Men and women who will stand for what is right and shun corruption.

‘I WANT A PRESIDENT WHO WOULD BE A TRUE LEADER’ – Tony Abiodun

There seems to be a dearth of leaders in our polity. We have politicians who are in government for their pockets. I want a president who would be a true leader. An exemplary man of influence.

‘LET WOMAN BE THE PRESIDENT’ – Blessing Ozoemena

Can’t we have a woman as our president? Look at Germany, Brazil, even Liberia. I think women are very resourceful, great at managing people and situations. That is what I feel we need at this point. I hope in the coming years we have a woman president.

‘WE NEED A PRESIDENT WHO WILL FIGHT THE CULTURE OF IMPUNITY…’ – Mary Egu

Nigerians are very undisciplined people. We mess things up a lot. We need a president who will fight the culture of impunity, not only in government, but also in other areas of the polity.

‘A PRESIDENT WHO DOES NOT JUSTIFY STEALING AND CORRUPTION’ – Santiago Robert

A president who does not justify stealing and corruption. A president who is not bamboozled by a league of extraordinary advisers whose specialty is to drag the cover over our eyes with bogus numbers and statistics. A president who we can hold accountable and competent.

‘I WANT A GOD FEARING MAN’ – Esther Joshua

A president that is truly concerned about the plight of the masses, that can provide light, make life easier for the people. I don’t care about the religion and the tribe. I want a God fearing man.

‘WE NEED SOMEONE WHO HAS VISION AND IS READY TO DELIVER’ – Etim Udoh

The kind of president we need come May 29, 2015, is the one that has ideas of the problems facing the country and he is ready to do everything within his capacity to ensure those problems become history. He should be a leader not a boss.

We need someone who has vision and is ready to deliver, not a president who will be giving us excuses.

‘THE NEXT PRESIDENT SHOULD BE MUCH CONCERNED WITH ISSUES OF RELEVANCE TO ALL’- Leke Atolagbe

We need a president that will liberate Nigerians from poverty, unemployment, insecurity and more. We need a leader who will constantly pursue common goals and agenda that are people oriented. We can’t afford to remain in darkness when the country is blessed enough to fix the power sector.

The next president should be much concerned with issues of relevance to all.

‘WE NEED A PRESIDENT WITH THE MIDAS TOUCH’ – Fred Chidiadi

Leadership has eluded our nation. And here is another opportunity to vote for a man who would drive the country to the promised land. All we need is a president with the midas touch. A man who will make things happen.

‘WE NEED A PATRIOTIC PRESIDENT’ – Fred Agbaje

Patriotism is key to the right leadership that is anchored on justice, equity and fairness. And it is this patriotic leader who does not see himself as Igbo, Hausa or Yoruba that we badly need in 2015.

‘I WANT CORRUPT FREE MAN’ – Olapade Titilayo

I want a president that would tackle corruption seriously.

‘SOMEONE WHO IS READY TO WORK’- Temitope Joseph

Someone who can fight terrorism, provide jobs, health care services, reduce poverty to the barest minimum.
