The president Nigerians want in 2015 (8)

Sick and tired of mal-administration, Nigerians have been listing the qualities they want in the man to be elected president on Saturday, March 28, 2015.

‘NIGERIANS WANT A PRESIDENT THAT WILL PROVIDE GOOD EDUCATION…’
– Samuel Adeoti
Nigerians want a president that will provide good education, good power supply and a lover of the country not lover of Nigeria’s money.

‘NIGERIANS WANT A PRESIDENT THAT WILL BRING SMILES TO THEM’
– Mr. Jacob Kolawole
Nigerians want a president that will bring smiles to both old and young faces because the masses are crying inside and the government is always happy.

‘A PRESIDENT THAT IS READY TO SERVE THE COUNTRY’
– Ayorinde Ayoade
A president with his own mind, confident, intelligent, ready to serve the country and most of all, he should be ready to tackle corruption.

‘A PRESIDENT WHO WILL FIX OUR COLLAPSED INFRASTRUCTURE AND POWER SECTOR’
– Ojo Ariyibi
I will like to see Nigeria having a president that will be focused and ready to tackle corruption without minding whose ox is gored. A president who will fix our collapsed infrastructure and power sector. We need a very committed and intelligent president.

‘NIGERIA DOESN’T NEED A SELFISH LEADER AGAIN’
– Yinka Alaba
Nigeria doesn’t need a selfish leader again. It’s time to move forward. Left to me, I prefer a president that will see himself as one of us. A president that will address all the challenges facing the country right now.
We should all have a rethink. We mustn’t vote for a person that will constantly drag the country backward. We should decide well come March 28, 2014.

‘I WANT A PRESIDENT THAT SEES HIMSELF AS A SERVANT, NOT A KING’
– Joshua Oguledo
I want a president that sees himself as a servant, not a king.
I think that is what we need at this level of our polity – a change of mindset. Our leaders should do away with the ‘me’ mindset and replace it with one of service.

‘I WANT A PRESIDENT FULL OF PASSION’
– Monday Izuchukwu
Sometimes when I think about that fact that we still struggle with the very basic things like power and roads, I am pained. Sadly, the popular candidates do not possess the qualities I yearn – I want a president full of passion. Someone with a compassionate heart to remove the plight of the majority in the country.

‘I WANT A PRESIDENT THAT CAN DELIVER’
– Hope Anyaso
My dream of a Nigerian president cannot be a reality at least this year. But I will say I don’t want a president who will build or repair roads, and proclaim that as an achievement. By now, our rails should be working effectively and efficiently. By now, I believe we should be exploring alternative to road transport for the public.

‘A MAN THAT CAN CONTROL THINGS’
– Kenneth Nduka
Prices of almost everything is very high. If someone can help control the ever-rising cost of things – that person would be my president.

‘I WANT A PRESIDENT THAT WILL LISTEN TO THE CRY OF THE MASSES’
– Lawrence Onuzulike
I want a president that will listen to the cry of the masses. A president that must take decisive decisions and not the one that keeps blaming opposition and saboteurs for his major failings. That said, I don’t want a president that will islamize Nigeria. I truly wish there is a strong third option.

‘I WANT A PRESIDENT WHO WOULD FIX THE POWER SUPPLY ISSUE’
– Shola Aderanti
I want a president who would fix the power supply issue, create more jobs and empower people.

‘ITS TIME TO GIVE WOMEN A CHANCE’
– Ify Okeke
Let’s test our women this time. It has always been men. I think we should elect a woman president this time around.

‘LET’S VOTE FOR A PRESIDENT THAT WILL FIGHT CORRUPTION’
– Sandra Iwu
Corruption is the bane of our nation. I will vote for a man who can fight corruption.

‘I WANT BUHARI AS PRESIDENT’
– Chris Akpan
The kind of president I want for Nigeria is Buhari because he is the kind of president Nigerians need. We have so many corrupt people in the corridor of power. Not President Jonathan as a person, but those in his party and they influence the president’s decision in almost every discipline and he will remove those bad eggs in the system.

‘I WANT A PRESIDENT THAT WOULD TACKLE CORRUPTION SERIOUSLY’
– Tolu Adebowale
I want a president that would tackle corruption seriously and not take it slightly because this has eaten deep into the minds of our so called politicians.

‘I WANT SOMEONE WHO WILL NOT ONLY FIGHT CORRUPTION’
– Bisola Adeoye
I want someone who will not only fight corruption, but will also lead the fight against corruption by appropriate example.

‘I DON’T WANT A PRESIDENT OF JUST PLAIN WORDS BUT WITH ACTION’
– Gbenga Awoyemi
This time, I don’t want a president of just plain words but with action because we have been on the receiving end of unfulfilled promises over the years.
