The truth about P-Square purported reconciliation

-Deny wives’ involvement in their squabble

The duo of hip-hop singers, Peter and Paul Okoye, popularly known as P-Square, have quashed the much bandied tale at the peak of the crisis that rocked the group for months, that their delectable wives Lola, Anita and their eider brother’s wife, Ifeoma were the masterminds of the imbroglio. They added that the three women held themselves together in peace throughout the trying period.

Speaking with ENCOMIUM Weekly on Sunday, July 31, 2016, via their publicist, Bayo Adetu, the popular entertainers expressed total discomfort about the tale, labelling those behind it as mischief makers.

According to Adetu, the singing twins also regretted parting ways for months as that didn’t only affect them as individuals but the group, especially teeming fans that cut across Nigeria and beyond.

“Not that they both loved the way the whole thing happened. But one thing people should understand is that this is not just the issue between brothers but twins. So, there is no way their quarrel could last forever. That’s one thing they should know. Some people only blew the whole thing beyond proportion.

“Now, both of them are back even stronger, bigger and better. Nothing can separate them. They have both, surely, learnt from what happened. Peter and Paul, even with their elder brother, Jude are very much united now as a big family.

“On the rumour that their wives were the reason for their quarrel, it’s a blatant lie. They knew nothing about it. Three of them  Jude, Peter and Paul wives together with their children were even more united throughout the turbulent time. People only like peddling unnecessary rumour.

“In all, we give God glory, Peter and Paul are back again as P-Square. Although that doesn’t mean they can’t still do their individual stuffs, that doesn’t affect them as a group.”
