The ultimate face beat! Who wins best illustrator for the Black Swan?

The fast-growing beauty and cosmetics industry in Nigeria is definitely here to stay because some of the most creative and forward looking stylists are coming out of the upcoming generation!

The Fayrouz L’Original season two auditions held this weekend at the International Conference Centre in the University of Ibadan, and some of the most creative young fashion minds got the chance to showcase their work to top icons in the Nigerian fashion industry.

Hundreds of young undergraduates, graduates and youth corps members displayed a number of impressive interpretations of their task, ‘The Black Swan’ to judges, Mai Atafo, Kunbi Oyelese of April By Kunbi, Kelechi Amadi-Obi and Rhema Akabuogu of House of Tara.

The teams, which consists of a designer, a make up artiste, a photographer and a model brought their A-game to the competition and the judges were particularly impressed by the make up aspect of the task as the different teams showcased varied styles of creative face art and fantasy makeup.
