A leaked tape involving the Governor of Rivers State, Governor Nyesom Wike and Independent National Electoral Commission officials was released on Wednesday, December 14, 2016. The tape had a telephone chat between him and some INEC officials drafted from Plateau State to help rig the election in the just concluded legislative elections in the state.
