‘There is no abandoned project in my LG’ – TOBA OKE

Contrary to the rumour that the Chairman Ifako Ijaiye Local Government, Apostle (Dr) Oloruntoba Oke, has abandoned some projects in his local government, the chairman has said that the statement is untrue. Speaking during the inauguration of the Ifako Ijaiye arm of Community Development Committee (CDC), Oke said the projects in his local government are either completed or ongoing.

The chairman appealed to the residents to be patient. ”I will try my best to fulfill virtually all my electoral promises before the end of my term, because the level of infrastructure upgrade witnessed by the residents of the LG in the 26 months of our administration is unprecedented. And the sustenance of this, in addition to our programme will be achieved before the end of our tenure”.

While advising the Alhaji A. A. Onifade led executive to serve the community to the best of their capacity, the LG chairman said that he will not be distracted by the activities of some group of people who are bent on maligning his name. ”I remain unshaken in my faith in God and the will to serve my people”.
