Theresa May’s 24 member new cabinet unveiled in first day as PM

New British Prime Minister, Theresa May, 59, spent her first day in office assembling her cabinet, with 25 members now chosen to lead the United Kingdom to new glory.

Here are the new ministers:

1. Philip Hammond – Chancellor of the Exchequer

2. Boris Johnson – Foreign Secretary

3. Amber Rudd – Home Secretary

4. Michael Fallon – Defence Secretary

5. David Davis – Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union

6. Liam Fox – Secretary of State for International Trade

7. Liz Truss – Justice Secretary

8. Justine Greening – Education Secretary

9. Gavin Williamson – Chief Whip

10. Patrick McLoughlin – Party Chairman

11. Jeremy Hunt  remains Health Secretary

12. Andrea Leadsom  Environment Secretary

13. Damian Green  Work and Pensions Secretary

14. Chris Grayling  Transport Secretary

15. Sajid Javid – Communities Secretary

16. Baroness Evans  Leader of the House of Lords

17. Greg Clark – Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (new department)

18. James Brokenshire – Northern Ireland Secretary

19. Priti Patel – International Development Secretary

20. Karen Bradley – Culture Secretary

21. Alun Cairns – remains Secretary of State for Wales

22. David Gauke – Chief Secretary to the Treasury
