Encomium
The Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) 2016 went down on Saturday, March 5, 2016, at the Expo Hall of Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event attracted the crème de la crème of the Nigerian entertainment industry and it was a fantastic gathering.
Last week, ENCOMIUM Weekly brought to you the best dressed celebrities at the prestigious awards, this week we bring to you the not so good.
INI EDO
Ini Edo’s dress was actually a beautiful one, it was just a classic case of right dress, wrong event and that is why she has made it to this list. The dress was a nice bridal piece with lacey sleeves and lacey insert at the front and v-shaped low back with a very long train.
One would have thought Ini Edo would rock a fitted dress to show off her new body and further promote the wonders of Slimtea as she is their ambassador or perhaps the dress would have looked better if it were in any other colour, as white looked like she walked out of her own wedding ceremony.
UCHE JOMBO
This hot mommy rocked a sheer see – through fabric sown in form of a kaftan. The kaftan is black, with sleeves reaching her elbows, knee length, a good purse and a nicely done natural hairdo with a white underwear. We would have thought she would have worn something slightly fitted to show off her post baby body. Her kaftan looked like something one would wear to church on a Sunday.
ENIOLA BADMUS
Bold and beautiful Nollywood actress, Eniola Badmus rocked a blue dress, blue shoes and silver dress. The dress is fabulous and suits her body, but would have looked even perfect if she hadn’t worn a pair of blue shoes.
DAYO AMUSA
Dayo Amusa’s dress was beautiful but did not flatter her body type. The dress would have looked better if she had a slimmer or a thin waist and curvy hips. Nonetheless, her makeup and hair looked really nice.
URU EKE
Uru Eke looked beautiful no doubt but appeared like it was her traditional wedding ceremony with a large part of her boobs popping off the top of the dress.
The dress was gorgeous but definitely not suitable for an award ceremony.
IBINABO FIBERESIMA
Ibinabo Fiberesima’s dress from the back look very elegant. But the moment she turned around, the dress was simply indescribable, because it look like a top and short and a playsuit.
Her hairstyle made the outfit looked funny. She had blue box braids styles in an up do. The dress would have looked better if it were another occasion and maybe in another fabric.
