Tinsel star, OMA NNADI engaged to US-based lover – ‘I don’t know what they’re talking about’

BANKABLE and delectable actress, Oma Nnadi is reportedly engaged to her US-based lover.  According to privy sources, the star of over 80 movies got the surprise package after the yuletide.

“Oma didn’t see it coming.  Yes, she has been in a serious relationship with this dude she met last year.  The fact is that the guy, who is also Igbo, had been showering her with so much love and attention that she couldn’t resist his proposal.”

The source further stated that the immensely rich and influential actress, being a very private person, had kept it to herself and had not bothered to share the good news with even her few close friends.

It was, however, a selfie that leaked to the press that exposed the ‘secret’ engagement.

Contacted to confirm the purported engagement to her US lover, Oma declined comments, insisting she should be allowed to live her life.

“If this question is about my career or business, I would be glad to talk to you. But this engagement thing falls within issues rather considered personal.  And you know I can’t get married without carrying my friends along.”

Respected for her near perfect interpretation of roles, Oma, who played Festac in Season 6 and 7 of MNET sponsored Tinsel has been in Nollywood for close to a decade, though she had to take a break to pursue her academic career at a point.  She would later proceed to the prestigious New York Film Academy to hone her skills.  And since she returned to the world’s second largest movie market (Nollywood) in 2011, she has been the toast of movie producers as well as marketers.

Oma was in the news late last year when ENCOMIUM Weekly exclusively reported she bought N15 million automobiles (Infiniti X 2013, Mazda SUV 2012 and a Honda CRV).

We also scooped she is building a over N50 million house in the Lekki-Ajah axis of Lagos.

She’s now back to public domain with reports revealing she is now engaged to her US-based lover.

WHAT OMA SAID ABOUT HER HEARTTHROB IN OUR LAST INTERVIEW

The Tinsel star actually revealed the man she would spend the rest of her life in an exclusive interview with ENCOMIUM Weekly in November 2014.  Excerpts…

Who are you currently dating?

I’m afraid he doesn’t want to be mentioned.  We are in a very serious relationship, though.  We have been on for about seven months.

You wish it leads to marriage?

Yes.

What do you cherish most about your guy?

He cares a lot. He is also extremely understanding.

How did your paths cross?

It’s God that gave him to me (pretends to be crying).  We’ve known each other for sometime though.  Then it just happened.
