Though we have very few female music acts in the industry, they are doing very great – releasing albums, singles, videos and still getting deals. Amongst these very few, ENCOMIUM Weekly still can clearly identify the three best dressed in this industry. Tiwa Savage, Seyi Shay and Emma Nyra have been consistent when it comes to the business of looking good. They don’t disappoint, when they step out on red carpets…
TIWA SAVAGE – Born Tiwatope Savage on February 5, 1980 in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria, the afro pop and R ‘n’ B singer has been active in the music industry since 2010. The Pepsi ambassador’s dress sense is definitely breathtaking. She wore a long blue dress with a slit right up to her thigh to the last City People Awards. Her makeup and accessories complemented her dress. Saying she was one of the best dressed to the awards won’t be called exaggeration.
This black and beautiful songstress knows what suits her dark skin. She has been very consistent when it comes to this. She adorned a brownish grey stripped bondage dress and yellow sandals to Baileys Nigeria’s unveiling event, where she looked all classy and chic.
To the Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards early in the year that was star studded, Tiwa stepped out in a Bridget Awosika 2013 Collection – a long blue fitted dress with matching silver pointed shoes.

Her hair went well with her dress also. Her Instagram page also never rests as she puts up pictures regularly of some of her breathtaking outfits.
SEYI SHAY – Born Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua in the United Kingdom, she had her tutelage under Beyoncé’s father, Martin Knowles. Since she got back to Nigeria, she’s been one of its fastest rising music acts with just three singles.
