Humble preacher and General Overseer of Royal Champion Assembly, Bro. Joshua Iginla, dazzled the movie industry and the less privileged when he showered over N50 million as gifts on them during the celebration of his life on Sunday, May 25, 2014, at his ministry’s headquarters, Kubwa, Abuja.
ENCOMIUM Weekly’s check revealed that the top Abuja prophet gave former veteran Nollywood actor, Larry Koldsweat a brand new 2014 Infiniti jeep valued over N10 million. It came as a surprised to the actor who alongside other top celebrities such as Alex Osifo, Zack Orji, Bimbo Manuel, Tope Alabi, popular Igbo gospel act, Chioma, Paul Obazele came to felicitate with their spiritual father. Aside the actor, the amiable clergy also gave out seven brand new cars to his aides who were shocked beyond words. We reliably gathered that he dashed out a brand new Passat exotic car to Francis Njoh, Joshua Michael went home with a white Toyota Camry, a Peugeot 307 was given to Linda Dave, Big Joe went home with a Mercedes Benz while Emordi Vivian was given a Ford Focus. Akin Rasaq picked a Toyota 4 Runner jeep while Rev. Nat went home with a Toyota Land cruiser. Our check revealed that the eight expensive toys were brand new and have been duly registered before they were given out. We scooped that he also informed them that he will pick the bills for the maintenance of the eight wonder-on-wheels for the next three months.
Confirming the story, the humble preacher said, “It’s not a showmanship. I gave them the cars not as a show off but to appreciate God. Once I couldn’t afford an okada. I never believed that I could drive a car not to talk of owning one. When people labour with you and they are not blessed, it’s not good. I told them not to thank me but God. It’s a joy for me to help people interpret their dreams. I give to those who can’t pay me back. Of what purpose is it when the pastor is rich and shepherds poor people? If God has lifted me up to this level, it’s my joy to lift others up.”

One of the Sunday’s at Millionaire Quarters, an elderly woman slumped and died in the church. Rather than panic, the prayer was intensified and in few minutes, by the mercy of God, the woman came back to life. The story spread around the town like wild fire, and subsequently, the church began to experience an overflow of congregation and under four months, God blessed the church with a cathedral, one of the biggest in Byazhin and the church continued to experience so much spread and so much happenings, all manners of miracles, breakthroughs, age long barrenness terminated and healings of all manners. The church has branches locally and internationally and with their own TV station, Champions TV. Prophet Joshua as he is fondly called is happily married with kids.
