A 20-year-old boy stabbed his younger twin siblings, yesterday (September 5), before running away and hanging himself 15km away from the scene in Charleville, Ireland.
Nine-year-olds – Patrick and Thomas O’Driscoll – who were being minded by their older half-brother, Jonathan, died in separate bedrooms hours after he collected them from school – they were found by their younger brothers shortly before 5pm.
A security source told the Irish Mirror: “It was a frenzied attack, the boys were stabbed multiple times. It’s understood there are psychological issues involved.”
