Toyosi Jazzytee set to take over the music scene in Nigeria

Toyosi Ogundele, the leader of Da’ Jazztee Band needs no introduction in the entertainment circle, both in Nigeria and in diaspora. The handsome and versatile entertainer has carved a niche for himself amongst his contemporaries in the entertainment world.

Toyosi and Da’jazzytee Band is a versatile band that serenades all music lovers and fans with different genres of music, ranging from smooth jazz to R and B, high life, juju, fuji, old-school selections e.t.c.

Toyosi Jazzytee Ogundele, CEO, Da’jazzytee Band is a native of Offa, Kwara State but born in Surulere, Lagos in early 80s.  The architect turned professional musician, is a graduate of Environmental Studies, Lagos State Polytechnic, Lagos.

Jazzytee started music at a very tender age in his daddy’s church, where he rose from the junior choir and drummer to become the main keyboardist and guitarist in the senior choir. A multi-instrumentalist, singer, song writer and professional producer, Toyosi set up up his band known as Toyosi & Da’jazzytee Band in 2008 and the band is known for its classic performances in events.

This great band has performed on different TV programmes, including: Nokia First Chance, G’bam Glo Show with Sasha. The band is  also the in-house band for the award-winning television show, known as Teju Babyface show. He has performed alongside King Sunny Ade, Chief Commander Ebenezer Obey, Sir Shina Peters, Doctor Adewale Ayuba, Alhaji Alabi Pasuma, Olamide, Mike Okri, Muma Gee and M.I to mention but a few.

Toyosi Jazzytee Ogundele also featured in festival of culture 2013 and 2014 alongside top juju singer, Arabian Jerry, the supple juju maestro and the banjooz band under Sammek Entertainment.

Da’jazzytee Band has two albums to its credit: Appreciation vol.1 and Appreciation vol.2. And is currently in the studio preparing to drop some hit tracks soon!
