Tramadol kills more than cocaine and heroine – Experts

Pathologists warn that prescription pain killers are killing more people than heroin and cocaine. It is observed that Tramadol claims more lives than any other drugs. Experts suggest it should be upgraded to Class A category.
Tramadol is taken by thousands of people. It’s even more deadly when mixed with alcohol.
It’s currently Class C because it’s believe to be least harmful.  The drug is used to treat both moderate and severe pains. The painkiller doesn’t cause any harm, if taken correctly, experts reveal.
According to State Pathologist for Northern Ireland, Professor Jack Crane, “I don’t think that people realize how potentially risky taking Tramadol is. I think it’s because it’s a prescription drug – people assume it’s safe.”
Adding that, “More people will die unless action is taken to crackdown on illegal sales.”
