UNIUYO to host Glo Campus Storm on Friday

The Glo-sponsored nationwide students’ entertainment show, Glo Campus Storm, will this Friday come alive at the University of Uyo in Akwa Ibom State.

The university campus and entire Uyo town are already agog with excitement, as students get set for the D-day. The Glo Campus Storm activation crew has also spread across the campus and its environ, sensitizing the students on the show while another team was spotted around the town distributing flyers and attracting the attention of Akwaibomites who watched with keen interest.
The topic of discussion among the students and workers on the university campus is the Glo campus storm with many of them looking forward to seeing performance of the top artistes lined up for the show for the first time.
The show which will be anchored by popular comedian, Gordons, will parade top entertainers in the country, including Nabania crooner, Flavour, Reekado Banks of Mavin Records, Runtown and DJ Neptune.
Uduak Ekpenyong, a 300 level student of University of Uyo, was one of the students that spoke on the show. According to her: “there had been rumours that the Glo Campus Storm will be held in this school for some months now, and we kept on hoping and praying that it happens. Now, it has been confirmed. It’s great news to us”.
The Glo-packaged Campus Storm will take place in 24 campuses across the country. Globacom stated that “the students will also have the opportunity of winning mouthwatering prizes and becoming Glo Campus Ambassadors.”
