Obinna Kelvin Anyanwu, widely known as Waconzy, has confirmed the acquisition of a brand new toy at a whooping cost of N16 million. The Too Much Money crooner admitted to ENCOMIUM Weekly on Monday, March 3, 2014, that indeed the new wonder on wheels was not a Range Rover as widely reported but a Mercedes E-Class jeep few days ago.
“I feel elated, glad and grateful to God for the blessing. Yes I picked it at $10,000 which is N16 million. It’s a Mercedes E-Class jeep.”
With this acquisition, Wacomzy now has four exotic wonder on wheels in his garage. Others are 2008 Range Rover, a Nissan Maxima and SUV.
Waconzy was born on the August 10, 1983, in Port Harcourt, Rivers state where he grew up. He completed his primary and secondary education in Port Harcourt. In 2000, Waconzy gained admission into Federal University of Technology, Owerri and graduated in 2005 with a Bachelor of Technology in Project Management. After completing his NYSC in 2006, he joined the Project Management Institute, America where he was certified a project management professional. While in school, Waconzy gained acceptance and popularity among his peers. He won lots of musical talent competitions, which catapulted him into the spotlight.
The Nigerian born music star set sail in the music industry in 2008 after the success of his monster hit, I Celebrate which shot him into limelight it has been nothing but an upward path for him. Due to his passion for music, he distinguished himself by carving a niche in the music industry. This was a result of his style of music, a sweet blend of western and African rhythm resulting to an irresistible style known as Afro-soul. Waconzy is a blend of two English words, “Wacko” and “Zany” which reflects in his lyrical delivery. His music cuts across all age, genders and geographical boundaries which is what makes the difference as a creative and versatile artiste.
