Ways to lose weight at night

Researchers found that sleeping naked can increase your night-time weight loss. This is because it helps to raise your metabolic rate. They observed that the body, when cold, will produce fat to heat it up.
Eating before bedtime is actually good for your diet. Founder of the foodeffect, Dr. Michelle Braude, says, “Completely avoiding food before bedtime can actually be bad for your weight loss goals. First, going to bed with a rumbling tummy makes falling asleep difficult. Second, people who wake up feeling hungry are far more likely to pig out on a big breakfast.”
You can also put those hours you aren’t sleeping at night to good use by exercising. It increases your resting metabolic rates. Scientists say the body metabolic rate lasts for an average of 16 hours after exercise.
A study at the University of Oxford, UK, revealed that women who slept in dark rooms were 20 percent less likely to be overweight.
Light cuts down the body’s production of melatonin (hormone that anticipates the daily onset of darkness). It also hinders quality sleep.  According to researchers at the University of Coloardo, USA, dieters consumed less calories when they got enough sleep.
