We are not stocking food for strike, there’s no money – Nigerians tell NLC

The Nigerian Labour Congress’ proposed Wednesday, May 18, 2016, strike over increase in petrol price from N86.50 to N145 per litre is not supported by legions of Nigerians. The call to stock pile food for the long battle has been dismissed as ill-thought out and impracticable.

With limited resources, salary delay and joblessness, millions don’t have the means and energy to support the strike.

As the union and government continue their meeting today, mm any are hopeful that a resolution would be reached…
