Encomium
The much awaited autopsy report of late Ronke Shonde – allegedly killed by her husband of eight years and father of her two children, Lekan – has not been delivered to the Lagos State Police Command, SP Dolapo Badmus, Police Public Relations Officer, told encomium.ng at 6:41 pm today ( Tuesday, May 17).
The report was to have been handed over to the command today by pathologists from Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, who completed the procedure last week.
When our reporter sent a text message to the PPRO at 6:06 pm,after repeated calls all through the day, she replied later.
Her text read, ‘The command is awaiting it’.
We earlier sent this message : ‘Good evening,madam. I had called earlier but your line wasn’t through. We are doing an update on Lekan Shonde’s story, and we want to confirm if the autopsy report is out. We will be expecting your response soon. Thank you so much.’
