We are tired of waiting for Buhari – Nigerians cry

Following the visit by some All Progressives Congress governors to President Muhammadu Buhari in far away United Kingdom, governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo state has announced that the President might return in the next two weeks and this has generated a lot of reactions from Nigerians who have probably lost interest in the news. While addressing the press, Governor Okorocha said, “By our visit to London today, the merchants of lies have been put out of business and Nigerians will not buy the garbage they have been selling.

“All those who look up to fake news can find better use for their time.”

He also stated that the President laughed at the rumours about his health status.

Meanwhile, ENCOMIUM Weekly approached Nigerians on their view over the supposed return of the President come two weeks and they have these to say.

Badejo Juliet

I am even tired of the news, that is what we have been hearing from different people. That he is coming home. But we never see him. My advice for him is that, he should just resign and Osinbajo should take over his post.

Adewale Adedoyin

That is our prayer for him, he should return to Nigeria in peace but we seriously need his present.

Olawale kemisola

I don’t believe them, because this is not the first time they are saying he’s coming home and we don’t see him. But my own view is that he should try and take very good care of himself before coming home.

Udogu Petra

I am tired of Buhari’s supposed return story. He should come if he deems it fit next year, I don’t care. He is not adding a plus or minus to my status.

Agunbiade Titilayo

This is not the first time we are hearing that. They should stop announcing to us because we are tired of listening to the same story every day. When he is fit to come home, he should come unannounced. I think that would be better.

Isaac Samuel

I know that by the time the two weeks run out, they will give us another date. Whenever he comes back, he is welcomed. I just prayer he gets well, that is the most important and not the return date.

Rufai Lateef

I don’t know why they keep giving us dates. I don’t know what Nigerian government takes us for. They behave as if they are representing themselves. We have the right to know everything about our president.

But they keep deceiving us like we don’t have right at all. Whatever they decide to do, they are free. Nigerians are not worried any more.

Babajide Abigail

There is not much to say on Buhari again since Presidency has kept us in the dark ever since the whole thing started. When he comes back, he is welcome. But, for now, I am not interested in knowing when he is arriving.
