The city of Lagos once again came alive as Fela Anikulapo-Kuti’s first granddaughter, Rolari Segun wedded Benedict Jacka today (Saturday, June 27) at The African Shrine Ikeja.
The venue, the new spiritual home of the legendary Kutis with four generations of stars, was decorated in white and sun flower yellow.
At 3:45 pm, the couple finally kissed as one, with the traditional wedding coming to a beautiful crescendo.
The wedding started about noon with guests in the colours of the day. And got to a beautiful cruise with many joining the troop of well wishers.
Yeni Kuti and Mrs. Segun (Rolari’s step mother) wore similar colours with Mrs. Jacka.
The cake was cut at 3:50 pm, and the couple fed each other.
