What Buhari is doing in New York next week

The United States of America is set to host the 72nd UN’s General Assembly Session, and President Muhammadu Buhari is reportedly attending the session and is expected to be the eighth speaker.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, revealed details of the New York, United States of America.
Ever since the president returned from his 103 days medical trip on August 20, from the United Kingdom, he has not been to any public event aside the Federal Executive Council meeting. This would be his first trip outside the country since his return from medical trip in August.

Not only is the president taking part in the upcoming United Nations General Assembly Session in the United States, he is also expected to speak at the event.
“I cannot tell you the time he will be going because it can change but I know he is expected to be the eighth speaker at the UN. So, he will be there and he will speak,” Shehu told Punch.
The president is expected to speak after the leaders of Brazil, the United States, Guinea, Switzerland, Jordan and Slovakia.
