Why British Airways cancelled, delayed flights across the world

The computer system of Britain Airways has been hit by a glitch with far reaching repercussions for flights across the world.

Frustrated passengers are in panic mode as flights are eithere cancelled or delayed.
All flights by the airline from Heathrow and Gatwick airports (in London, the United Kingdom) are cancelled.
Chaos reign as passengers are in huge queues moving no where, and many stuck on planes on the tarmac for hours.
British Airways has denied a hack of its system, claiming it is a major systems failure.
All flights from Heathrow and Gatwick before 6 pm today (Saturday, May 27), the airline said, have been cancelled. And passengers are advised not to come to the airport.
