The reunion concert targeted at showcasing all artistes Coded Tunes have worked with has been postponed. The concert which was billed to take place on Sunday, May 10, 2015 was shifted to Sunday, July 12, 2015. ENCOMIUM Weekly had a chat with the brain behind it and Coded Tunes boss Olamide Ogunade, popularly known as ID Cabasa on why the concert was shifted.
What exactly happened, why was the concert postponed?
The concert is billed to be an unforgettable experience. Some of our flagship sponsors wanted more time to ensure the relevant persons from their end would attend the concert.
The rumour is that one of the artistes backed out at the final stage?
That is not true. All our esteemed artistes confirmed their participation until we informed them of the change in date.
When is the new date and venue?
The concert is now billed for July 12, at the same venue, Eko Hotel & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Any addition the shift is bringing to the event?
It will now be an exciting Broadway Show with incredible triangulated performances providing the high octane musical tickles for the audience. Those who otherwise would have missed the show now have the opportunity to enjoy the full compliments of the new Coded Tunes Concert quality. It is now reloaded with more excitement and fun.
Before it was postponed, what was the reaction generally and with the sales of tickets?
The excitement was palpable and reactions were quite upbeat.
Can you quantify the loss you have recorded as a result of the shift?
Our immediate efforts are geared towards ensuring an unforgettable experience for participants at the concert.
Is money refundable to those who wouldn’t be able to come as a result of the shift?
All tickets and tables already purchased remain valid for the concert.
What are the challenges you envisage?

What is the unique thing about this concert?
What is unique about the Coded Tunes Reunion Concert is that it is bringing together for the first time all the members of the Coded Tunes Music dynasty supported by friends of the house. That is our story. I will tell the story of the evolution of the Coded Tunes Entertainment Concept from grass to grace to the newly Coded Tunes sign-on artistes who will be unveiled at the concert. They are Gaise Baba, a prolific afro-fusion maestro and Chineke-boy (The Voice)! These two will take the music world by storm!
