being equipped with the good things of life. The Kutis, however, chose the day (Monday, May 24), for its commissioning which was done amidst pomp and pageantry. Yeni declared the edifice open in the presence of everyone.

The 48 year-old divulged why he built a house for his beloved son, Made.  “For Made, I can do anything for him.  He is my first child and you know as an African man you need to start equipping your child, especially a male child on how to be independent.”

Made Kuti needn’t lose sleep over what and what will be needed to equip his new property as his father, Femi had already settled that.  The house, a storey building, boasts of four bedrooms, a large size sitting room at the base of the building.  The upper chamber is where a well-equipped kitchen is located. Near the kitchen is a mini music pavilion with a piano.  The floor of the house is paved with expensive tiles, while the staircase which connects the lower and the upper chamber of the house is made of polished wood works. Though the cost of putting such together was not disclosed, real estate experts revealed it is a property worth millions of naira.
