‘Why I remixed Victor Uwaifo’s Joromi’ – Emerging act, JC

Jeremiah Uzeh Blandmosh, better known as JC, has revealed why he remixed and turned Joromi, the evergreen song of legendary musician Sir Victor Uwaifo into a club banger.
In a chat with ENCOMIUM Weekly, talented JC, who hails from Edo State, disclosed that his undying love for the song and the desire to make it appeal more to youths in this pop culture era necessitated the long and overdue remix.
Amazingly, JC also got the approval, blessing and endorsement of the revered veteran musician before embarking on this well- applauded mission that is gradually changing the nation’s music landscape.
“Sir Victor Uwaifor gladly endorsed and gave me the approval to release the remix of his evergreen song, because he was blown away by the artistic creativity I added to his chart busting song as a young talent. He also prayed for me and predicted I would go far with my talent. That, for me was a huge endorsement from a man I’ve always looked up to as a role model in the industry. As an afro hip pop act, I decided to remix the song to make it appeal more to the youths and the response so far has been overwhelming.”
Charismatic and energetic JC, made it clear he is ready to rule the music industry with his craft and creativity.
The new kid on the block, who is currently signed and managed by Dvast Entertainment, a Las Vegas, US-based label began his music career in the choir at a very tender age.
His love for music spurred him to write songs of different genres with focus on Afro hip pop. The multi- talented entertainer launched himself into the music world fully in 2002, and has since gone ahead to record lots of songs, which he hopes to release soon.
On his relationship with the opposite sex, JC, who is also called the Alien Boy, said he does not want to be called a ladies’ man yet, but knows he’s got the right vibes to tickle the ladies.
Interestingly, Dvast Entertainment CEO, Mr. Chris Usigbe, discovered JC at a concert in Nigeria where he performed with some other Nigerian artistes.
“He blew the mind of the audience with his strong sensual and vibrant voice and caught the attention of Mr. Usigbe, who requested for his master cut to take back to US to introduce to the rest of the team,” added Chi Chikelu, a senior member of Dvast Entertainment.
Meanwhile, JC’s new single, Jeromi is set to hit the air waves soon, courtesy of Dvast Entertainment, who has also concluded plans to drop the debut work on music shelves globally.
