Why did Airopay take the step of sponsoring WWTBAM?
First of all, WWTBAM is an established brand. It is also a way of giving back to the society. Apprently a winner would go home with a lot of money which would change the life of such an individual totally. It is also a way of introducing a new product to the country. It is a product that can make life easier for people. A new product we can give to the country, with the Airopay app you can easily recharge your phone, buy dollars to travel outside the country, shop even outside the country. Our app makes life easy. That is why we had to partner with a known brand .
When was Airopay  established?
We started off as a company five years ago, we are operating in U.K, USA, China, Kenya, Finland and some other countries very soon. We have a couple of countries who use our services, some financial institutions in the UK.
Are you related to Pastor Chris Oyakhilome?
We are. He is my pastor and we are also from the same community. We are related by blood, our surname is our family name.
What does Airopay stand to gain in this relationship?
People would use our services and of course anybody who goes into business would make more money. As we begin this project, we expect that whosoever wants to do transactions would use our app.
And it is not only about us, but also about our customers. Our app functions outside the country. You can use it to transact business in a lot of countries outside Nigeria. It is first of its kind in Africa. We are introducing voice on transfer, you would be able to send money in your local dialect.
Tell us a bit about your background?
