Business mogul and Chief Executive Officer, Chicken Lovers Fast Food, along Lagos/Abeokuta Express Road, Abule Tailor, Lagos, has explained the reasons the upscale eatery was renamed.
Speaking with ENCOMIUM Weekly on Sunday, March 30, 2014, the Okegbo, Ondo-born entrepreneur said, among other things, that the need for improved services and transformation of the entire business informed its rebranding, and of course renaming to Kings and Queens Fast Food, with a new logo.
“Yes, Chicken Lovers is wearing a new look. You could recollect that it was yellow but now green, and with a new logo and name. It’s now called Kings and Queens Fast Food. The need for this was informed by constant need to up the ante of the business to suit what obtains internationally.
“We have also improved all the facilities. Everything there is new including the air conditioners, office and kitchen equipment. It’s a kind of massive transformation. We want to ensure that our customers from far and near enjoy value for their money.”
Asked when the outlet will be reopened, he said, “That will be this weekend, hopefully. We’re leaving no stone unturned. We’re working assiduously to meet the target.”
Chicken Lovers was established in December 2006, with about seven branches in Lagos and its environs. The eatery which repositioned hospitality trade at inception started crumbling some years later, allegedly due to low patronage. This, however, led to the closure of almost all the outlets, leaving those in Ore and Benin in Ondo and Edo states respectively.
Now, with the rebranding, customers of the popular restaurant, especially those in the vicinity are assured of improved quality services and home away from home.
