Why women find urinating after sex difficult

The  hormone ‘vasopressin’, released when you enjoy sex and have orgasm, has been identified as the reason women find it difficult to urinate after sex!

Apart from reducing the volume of your urine, the anti-diuretic hormone (vasopressin) raises your blood pressure and constricts your blood vessels.

But you should always urinate after sex to prevent urinary tract infections (UTIs) as this is when you are most susceptible. Visiting the toilet cleanses the urinary tract.
