Why women no longer make their hair

Recession has beaten so hard into the economy that women are finding it difficult to change their hair style monthly. Thanks to wigs and braid wigs that came to the rescue of most women, some have even gone back to natural hair and prefer to be on a low cut. We sampled opinions of hair stylists this week to find out why wigs seem to be the order of the day.

Is it true that women don’t make hair like before?

They do but not like before. The number of people that make hair has reduced to like 50 percent. Because of that, patronage has reduced as well.

What do women do to their hair now?

Some have gone back to natural hairs while some are on wigs.

Will you say they still make expensive hair?

Yes, they do. For those who do, they already have their human hair. They just wash, treat and make it. For those who don’t have, they get what they can afford.

Capital yes. Three things are involved, it is a new year and a new session for their children to go back to school, prices of things have gone up, everything is expensive.

Another reason is that hair has gone viral, people are ready to convert their hair into wigs or braid wig. Some don’t have the time to sit down and make new hair, they just treat and wear.

The third reason is the recession. Despite that, people still make hair, some are trying to cut cost. Patronage has gone down, about 30 percent are making their hair and it cut across people within age 18-23 years.

They still do but it varies, it is better to buy expensive hair that would last for long, they can use it like five times. It is of no value to buy a cheap hair and discard after use. I advise my clients to buy good hair so they can use over and over again.

They still make hair but the rate has reduced seriously, we are just trying to cope with that challenge.

Yes they do, though recession is a problem to some, some are making the best of all opportunities that come their way.
