As the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) proposed strike scheduled for Wednesday, May 17, 2016 over the increase of petrol price to N145 draws ever closer, Nigerians are having a go at each other on Twitter as the hashtag #NoToNLCStrike trends.
Many are of the opinion that the strike action is not necessary as the subsidy regime needed to go at one point or the other. Others, however, are of the belief that the attendant discomfort of the new petrol price would be unbearable.
