‘Yes, I have filed for divorce’
Famous actor cum producer, Abayomi Lukman Fabiyi, simply addressed as Yomi Fabiyi, has finally confirmed break up in his marriage to his British wife, Fran after several denials. Not only that, the national coordinator of Save Nigeria Movie Group has also disclosed to encomium.ng that the 4 year union was childless and not rosy at all, especially due to long distance between himself and Fran.
Speaking to encomium.ng on Saturday, November 12, 2016, the versatile role interpreter said, “It’s true, my brother. We have parted ways. I have even filed for divorce as contained in the post on my Instagram page.
“Our agreement when we got married was that she would relocate to Nigeria with me and pick up a job. But after some time, she now wanted me to come and stay with her in the UK which will surely affect me, career wise. So, that’s why I decided to call it quit with her, though painful.”
Asked if the relationship has produced a fruit of the womb in its four years, Fabiyi reacted, “No, there’s nothing like that. How can that be when we don’t stay together?”
