Yomi Fash rubbishes suicide tale

‘It’s unfounded and nonsensical’, he says

Nollywood star, Yomi Fash Lanso, simply addressed as Yomi Fash, has rubbished social media reports that he has attempted suicide over the current economic situation in the country. He added that those behind the story are only dreaming as nothing like that has never occurred to him.
Speaking with encomium.ng on Friday, November 11, 2016, the brilliant role interpreter expressed total dissatisfaction about the publication, describing it as not only unfounded but laughable and nonsensical. He therefore urged his fans and the entire public to ignore the rumour as no atom of truth in it.
“What did they mean by that? May be those saying that are dreaming. They’re the ones who will commit suicide, not me. Nothing will ever lead to that.”
Asked on how the ongoing recession is affecting his career and the industry generally, the spokesperson of Theatre and Motion Pictures Practitioners of Nigeria (TAMPPAN) reacted, “What do you mean by recession affecting my career or the industry as a whole? As the situation is in Nigeria now, some are building new houses, buying new cars and all that.  So, I don’t believe in that.”
