President Bola Tinubu congratulates the former Governor of Ekiti State, Dr Kayode Fayemi, on his birthday, February 9, 2024.
Dr Fayemi is also a former minister of Solid Minerals Development and holds the national honour of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON). He is a recipient of many other awards.
A leader of defining hallmarks, the former Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, demonstrated notable leadership both in government and as a pro-democracy advocate of many years.
President Tinubu commends Dr Fayemi for his dedication to service and dogged pursuit of knowledge and the common good.
As the former governor marks his birthday, the President wishes him more prosperous years, as well as good health and strength.
